ORIS is a manufacturer specializing in the production of non-standard sprockets. Sprockets can be produced according to the customers’ drawings or the main dimensional data provided by the customers. Our customized sprockets are applied in many areas, including mechanical power or rotary motion transmission in agricultural machinery, food processing machinery, logistics equipment, intelligent three-dimensional parking garages and other industries.

The difference between sprockets and gears lies in that one sprocket never directly meshes with the other. Sprockets are designed to work together with a specific chain, and choosing the right sprocket can optimize the sprocket/chain interaction, ensure drive performance and reduce maintenance frequency.

There are three types of conventional sprockets

A type sprockets are flat and without hubs. They are usually mounted on the flange or hub of the equipment that they drive and are driven through a series of plain or tapered holes.

B type sprocket :With a hub on one side, Type B sprockets can fit snugly on the machine they are installed on, which eliminates significantly overhanging loads on the equipment bearings.

C-type sprockets extend on both sides of the plate and are typically used on driven sprockets, which have a larger pitch diameter and a heavier support shaft. Larger loads should have larger hubs.

The customized sprockets can be made with sizes of various holes, with keyway, screw holes, bearing holes, etc., all according to the special requirements of the different equipment.

We also provide certain surface treatment of the sprockets to prolong their service life, namely, tooth heat treatment, blackening, galvanizing, spraying, nitriding, etc.
